The beard night, a lizard, grows when it's young, very fast. Like many other reptiles, he pops out of his skin as he grows. In the first 3 months of his life he annoys about 3x. When they get older, it will be less. If they eat faster, and thus grow faster, they will also moult faster.

If it starts to molt, the skin becomes dull and acquires a grayish glow. It's a good sign, which means it's growing well. Some beard dagams blow themselves up a little, making them really snap out of a sheet a bit. Others beard dagams moult little by little again. Usually first goes the head, the legs, then only the back and finally the tail. Even the earholes and the nostrils are molting!

The beard night at the pet store is already partially shedding. He posed neatly in front of my camera (own photo).

The beard window creates itself by scratching and sanding on a stone that falls its skin off. Never pull his skins yourself! There could be infection.

But you could give the animal an extra bath. The old skin then becomes soft and falls off easier. Also, on old skin you can lubricate a little sunflower oil or olive oil.
