Climate crisis. The Earth is warming up, we are heading for a disaster ! We hear that just about every day.

But warming and cooling are also largely a natural cycle.

Around 8,000 years before Christ, global warming caused the north of Africa to dry up. Ultimately, this phenomenon caused part of the continent to become desert. The Sahara came into being.

Because these areas became unlivable, they settled near rivers, where the soil was still fertile. The Nile was a thankful place. Other tribes moved to Morocco.

The first inhabitants of Tenerife, located about 400 km off the coast of Morocco, were Guanchen, a Berber people, who reached the island from Morocco in thatched boats, driven in that direction due to the ocean current and northeasterly winds. The thatched boats could not be repaired in Tenerife, there were no reeds there, so in the absence of boats, they stayed there.
