Get educated
One major step towards becoming a flight attendant is to get some education.

You don't want to leave getting hired to luck. I bet you don't. You must meet certain airlines requirements for you to get hired.

At least obtaining a high school diploma is a good starting point. However acquiring Bachelor degree in hospitality, communication, tourism and public relation will should set you apart and increase your employability.

Get some experience
Don't just fold your hands waiting to be hired straight away as a flight attendant.

As you are waiting to be hired you can start working in some places like hotels, restaurant, and resorts.

It is easier to get employed in these areas. It is even more appealing to work on part-time basis while still running your programs.

Hiring officials give preference to candidates with proven years of experience. Sure you want to be among such candidates? Go get some experience.

Build soft skills
Human resources recruiting flight attendant are geared towards getting individuals with strong soft skills.

Therefore learn and make these skills part of you;

1. Attention to detail
Anyone working in airline got to be security conscious and meticulous.

Paying close attention to detail is necessary in order to detect suspicious activity around  the airline and inside the airport. And when dealing with passengers.

2. Confidence
Flight attendant should be able to carry themselves well. If you can to be a flight attendant, you must learn to be bold and passionate about your work. Making eye contact each time you speak is a major way to  showcase your prowess.

3. Stamina
Flight attendant stand and work long hours, developing a good stamina and balance is vital. At least you could start by undergoing some endurance training.

4. Good communication skill
A flight attendant should be able to speak correctly and coherently. Knowing when to speak and when not.

Apply for a job
You can't be a flight attendant without applying for a job. If you're aged 18 years and above and have obtained your diploma or high school certificate.

Go for it. Surf through the net for vacant positions.
