Method 1 of 1: Canceling an Order in the Mobile App
Open the Amazon Shopping app on your phone or tablet. This is a shopping cart icon that says "Amazon". You will usually find it on the home screen or in the application drawer (Android).
If you haven't installed the Amazon app yet, you can get it from the App Store (iPhone / iPad) or the Play Store (Android). You can see how to install apps to learn how to download apps to your phone or tablet.
Tap ≡ List. This is in the upper-left corner of the app.
Tap your order. This is near the top of the menu. A list of your recent orders will appear.
If you have not already signed in to your Amazon account, you will be prompted to do so before your order arrives.
Find the order you want to cancel. Your recent orders will appear on the current screen. If you do not see the order you are looking for, tap Filter Order at the top of the screen, select a different duration or order type, and then tap Apply.
If you want to cancel a digital order, select the digital order from the "Order Type" list, and then tap Apply.
Tap the order you want to cancel. Order details will appear.
Tap Cancel Item or Cancel Order. An alternative will appear under the heading "Order Information". A list of will order items will appear.
If the order has already been sent, tap Cancel request. You will receive a refund once the request has been confirmed by Amazon. If the item still arrives in the mail, deny delivery.
If you purchased the item from Marketplace from a third-party seller, you will receive a Contact the seller button instead. Tap it, tap Enter message, and then compose a message Tell sales to cancel order Tap tap write Write a message to send request and then wait for seller confirmation.
Tap the check box next to the item you want to cancel. Select all items if you want to cancel the whole order.
Tap Cancel checked items. It is at the bottom of the order. Amazon will process the cancellation and send you a confirmation message via email.
Method 2 of 2: Canceling an Order on Amazon.com
Go to https://www.amazon.com in a web browser.
Click Order. It displays a list of your recent orders near the right side of the running menu at the top of the page.
If you have not signed in, you will be prompted to do so before your order arrives.
Navigate to the order you want to cancel. If you do not see it on the main screen, click the Open Orders tab just below the "Your Orders" tab at the top of the page to display still open orders.
If you want to cancel a digital order, such as an app or movie purchase, click the Digital Order link at the top of the "Your Orders" page, and then select your order.
To view the AmazonFresh order, click Order at the top of the AmazonFresh order list, and then select your order.
This option appears only if the order is not sent next to the Click Item Cancel order. Once clicked, you will see a list of items in order
If the order has already been sent, click Cancel Request. You will receive a refund once the request has been confirmed by Amazon. If the item still arrives in the mail, deny delivery.
If you purchased the item from Marketplace from a third-party seller, you will receive a Contact the seller button instead. Click the button, select Write a message, then compose a message. Ask the sales to cancel the order. Click Write Message to send your request and then wait for seller confirmation.
If you are canceling an AmazonFresh or digital order, click View or Edit Order to see the details and then delete the items individually.
