How to care for the lawn?

We all love to see the lawn always in excellent condition and the good appearance of your garden is essential for a perfect view from the outside. However, keeping the grass green and even for most of the year is usually a task that requires part of our time and knowledge. That's why in this installment we leave you five useful tips to get a perfect lawn.

1 . Mowing the grass periodically: For the proper maintenance of the grass it is necessary to cut it periodically, this will ensure that it is always healthy. Regular mowing of the lawn is very important as it helps thicken the grass.
2. Fertilizing the lawn in early spring: When we cut the lawn, it begins a process in which it removes many nutrients that need to be replaced for optimal growth. We advise you to start fertilizing your lawn every four to five weeks from the beginning of spring.

3. Watering the lawn according to temperature and humidity: All gardening fans like that the lawn always looks green and that it stays that way throughout the summer, which is why one of the most important tasks to achieve optimal results is the irrigation process. How often to water depends on temperature and humidity. For this, it is necessary to observe the changes in the color of the lawn, when the grass is in need of water, it will begin to acquire a blue and gray hue, while the older leaves will begin to wither.

4. Control weeds: So-called “weeds” compete with grass for water, nutrients, light and space. Aesthetically they are not pleasant and where they proliferate without control, it gives a feeling of abandonment. Smaller weeds can be removed manually, for this it is very important to remove the maximum length of the root to prevent them from growing back. But if there is still no way for them to stop growing, you can resort to herbicides.

5. Raking the Lawn to Aerate the Soil: Lawn Roots Need Air to Breathe and Keep Growing. Very often, the soil of the lawn is not so sandy as to allow air to reach the roots, and, consequently, growth does not develop.
