Cleaning a Keurig is a good idea for your health and safety. Keurig's, like any other coffee machine, may develop mold if not properly drained, washed, and cleaned. Aside from preventing mold and germs, your Keurig should be cleaned regularly to ensure that it performs at its best. The mineral accumulation in the machine, which affects the flavor and quality of the coffee being made, may be removed with a quick clean-up. Coffee from a clean Keurig is of higher quality.

Acknowledge the following tips to clean Keurig-

Disassemble

You'll need to disassemble your Keurig to clean everything as completely as possible. The drip tray, water reservoir and lid, and K-cup pod holder should all be removable.

Wash removable parts and reassemble

After you've disassembled everything, clean the water reservoir with soap and water and thoroughly rinse it (you don't want dirty coffee!). Allow the reservoir to drain dry to prevent lint from adhering to the edges and ending in your coffee cup.

Clean out the needles that penetrate your K-cup every morning while you're at it. To release any coffee grounds that have become lodged, use a straightened paper clip. After that, wash clean the drip tray and the K-cup pod holder with a moist, soapy, lint-free cloth, as well as the exterior of your machine after reassembling it.
