
Just as simple as it is, bacon can be conveniently and effortlessly cooked in the oven.
Similar to air fryer bacon, cooking bacon in the oven is one of the best ways.
Bring out the strips of bacon and lay them on a baking pan, bulge it out in the oven, bake it, to have your perfect bacon.
The stovetop will be free through this method, it won't be splattered. Don't bother turning the bacon over, bake only.
It bakes in no time. But if you want to keep some bacon grease, there is much in the baking pan to keep.
The bacon made is crispy. It is healthy and delicious especially when added to sandwiches, mashed potatoes or casserole.
Three types of bacon - The choice is yours!
•    American Bacon: This is the commonest out of the three bacons I'll list out here. American bacon is gotten from the belly of a pig.
•    Thick-cut bacon: Thick-cut bacon is cut to 1/8 each, so it'll take a longer time to turn out as a crispy bacon. Well, if after 20 minutes, it still needs turning over, turn it over, and kick it back into the oven for few minutes; then, check again.
•    Turkey Bacon: This dries faster than American Bacon and thick-cut bacon. What makes it dry faster? Because it is lean; leaner than others are. Just be at alert and check it from time to time to make sure it doesn't become too crispy and black.
Pan to use
Baking pan is advised other than wire rack or cooling rack. Because it'll bake it as you want it.
How do you cook bacon in the oven?
•    Using American Bacon
Bacon is kicked into the oven at 400°F for 20 minutes. More or less.
a)    (Preheat) the oven to 400°F for 20 minutes.
b)Â Â Â Â Put the bacon on the baking sheet.
c)Â Â Â Â Bake the bacon until you're okay with its level of crispness. It usually takes 20 minutes, and it does not need turning it over.
d)Â Â Â Â Then, after it has become crispy, bring it out from the pan, and put it on a paper towel; A paper towel might not be enough depending on the bacon baked. Well, you might put the bacon on two paper towels or more.
•    Using thick-cut bacon
Cook the thick-cut bacon at °400F as well but the 20 minutes can't be less, it could take more minutes because of its thickness. It would require turning over too.
•    Using turkey bacon
Lay the turkey bacon on the baking sheet and cook it. It would take less than 20 minutes - at most, 13 to 15 minutes.
Before you can reserve left-over bacon grease, it must cool on the pan for almost 15 minutes.
