How to deal with creative blockade

I know that most of you have had the situation where you want to do something that actively involves creativity and can't make it work, even if you propose it.

Although usually creative blocking is primarily associated with artists and musicians, the truth is that it is more common than you think, it may be when you want to cook something splendid, but you think and think and you can't think of anything at all.

This can also be called “creative lock” this may also be the reason why you have 3 hours looking at a blank page and can't write that novel you love so much, but you have no idea how to start.

My way of dealing with creative blocking is very simple and in most cases it is the one that solves the lock. I usually choose to look at someone else's work, I know it can be misinterpreted as a suggestion that I'm suggesting that you copy yourself, but I haven't finished explaining yet, I usually look at someone else's work by inspiration and a basis to start creating my own work.

I also look for inspiration elsewhere, I look for it when I read a book, when I look at images on the internet, in short, my advice to get out of a block is to always look for inspiration elsewhere and not concentrate on thinking and thinking, the blockade only gets worse if all you do is force your imagination and creativity.
