How to deal with negative responses.

Following with my previous post “how to deal with lack of motivation” I brought here, which I would say a continuation.

In the business world you will constantly face negative projects, either by managers or by your own team.

However, these may be a good time to make a self-assessment and reaffirm the basis of such work, which may mean a significant benefit to the initiative.

How should I accept a negative answer without losing my motivation?

- First, one must be convinced and present the initiative with the aim that they tell you yes, so you should be ready to ask what do you not like about the project?

After a negative answer how do you transform it into positive?

- The way to deal with this answer is to put yourself in each other's place, think what made him say no, and be prepared to reverse this perception that generated uncertainty with information that sustains the project.

When your idea is rejected what would it be ideal to rethink your idea or persist from it?

- A rejection can be a good opportunity to rethink, especially if this answer comes from someone who has the authority to do so.

Never give up the first time, listen to the requirements, find the need and propose different solution alternatives, give time and allow the other party to process the information and finally respect the decision while refuting the objections presented.

I hope these tips were something useful for your working life, your visionary life. A “no” can be something devastating on the one hand, and something good on the other. It's up to you to choose the reins very well.
