Potatoes are peeled, cut into pieces, washed and put on fire in a pot with water, 2 teaspoons of salt. It is brought to a boil and cooked for about 15 to 20 minutes or until the potatoes are softened and can be pierced with a fork.
They drain very well.
The milk is boiled and set aside keeping it warm.
Pass the cooked potatoes into pieces into the container of an electric mixer, and beat; if you do not have a food processor, then crush or crush the potatoes into puree; add butter and then milk little by little and stir until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
Add salt and pepper; mix until all ingredients are unified
Tips: Mashed potatoes have many variants. My mom adds parmesan cheese and you can imagine how delicious it is.
I particularly put a mustard point and a touch of garlic powder, in addition to parmesan cheese, which is one of my addictions.
