How to make sausage rolls

Our new kitchen is finally finished as you may know (otherwise you can read it in one of my other posts; -)). So time to try out the kitchen and then especially the oven (finally an oven!)

We immediately went for a more difficult task: sausage rolls at the request of my little boy. So said so done. Recipe looked up on the Internet and get started.

First make the bread, because this has to rise. After mixing small balls rolled to make the dough rise. Meanwhile, we could start making the sausages. Eventually it turned out after they were ready that we would rather have spicy minced meat than regular half to half minced meat, but that is for the next time a lesson to get it even better.

Then came the nicest work. The balls could now be rolled out and then wrapped the sausage in the dough. This is what the children liked to do. Although occasionally it wasn't easy to get a sausage wrapped up. But with a little rolling this went fine and we had a lot of sausage rolls to bake.

In the oven they were dyed wonderfully golden brown and it smelled delicious! Of course we tasted them and she tasted fine. A little more spices next time is allowed, as I already mentioned.

So it was a great success to make. The sausage rolls were very tasty and the children liked to make. We have already made boluses and bread. Delicious to bake tasty!
