
Worry is the fear that something bad will happen that things wouldn't workout in one's favour.

Worry has never solved any problem instead it creates more issues. It can make you tensed up, anxious, lack confidence and may lead to panic / anxiety attack.
How to stop worrying
Make out time to worry
This sounds awkward but stipulating a time to worry makes you free from excessive worry. Be it at night, morning or afternoon.
During this time you're are free to ponder over your fears and all the 'what ifs' and 'worse case scenarios'.
Forming the habit of worrying at certain time of the day will help you to have worry free day ahead of you.
Write down the reasons for worrying
What are the things you are scared of, are they unseen or unknown or do you know them. Write it down.
Go through your list, is there anything you can do to solve those issues? If yes, start devoting that time you use in worrying to achieving them. Most of the time people use longer time to think of situational challenges than do what they can do.
Stop procrastinating
Procrastinating makes you unprepared. While not go get a job now so you don't have to worry about how you will pay your bills. Go to library and study your books so you don't have to worry about passing your exams.
You know what? In some worries, you can do things to help oneself.
Speak back to that inner voice
In most worry cases, nothing can be done.
Simply tell yourself that your thinking and fear will do nothing on that issue.
Start up a conversation with your inner mind. When it tells you that you will be thrown out of your house because you haven't paid your rent. Tell that voice, that throwing you out of your house can't kill you.
If it tells you that you will not make it in life, talk back to it. Tell it your life is a special one that you will make exploit ( even when you are not in the best of mood).
If it tells you that your new found love may abandon you; refute it by telling that voice that you are uniquely and beautifully made that the most handsome man would come around and beg you to o accept him.
It may remind you of you ailing health tell that voice that since Jesus Christ lives you also will live.
Practice this every now and then, don't ever cease, prophesying positively about your life. Soon you will start having a sound sleep and sweet night rest because you worry no more.
