Humanitarian aid by the UN to counteract health problems in children under 6
#health A few months ago my granddaughter started her classes in Kindergarten (preschool) and I was surprised by what I learned that same day from some UN representatives in Venezuela. They told parents that, in our country, the rate of malnutrition is quite high compared to some other Latin countries.
The most affected children are those between 1 and 6 years old, so the decision was made to somehow “help” parents with precarious conditions.
What is this aid about?
Once a month, each parent must go to the school (preschool) where they will pick up a food basket that includes the following products:
6 Kilos of rice
1 Litre of vegetable oil
4 Kilos of grains or black beans or Lentils
1/2 kilo of salt
While this basket does not include everything a child needs to feed himself in the right way; parents appreciate having this initiative.
Health, especially for the little ones, should always be a priority before anything else

When I was a child, they also helped us, I remember that they did not give a liter of milk to take to our house on the way out of kindergarten
