Hunting with the natives
Once down on the ground, after viewing the 30-metre-high stilt house, visitors notice that men and women, young and old, are ready to hunt and gather food. Some dogs that they had always seen foraging freely between the stilt houses come along. They apparently recognize these people's habits and they also look very upbeat. Nervously, they scurry back and forth. They are also ready to hunt.
The natives have no fear of these animals at all. They are actually their pets.
They also live in harmony with these animals.
The anthropologists, the biologist and Miriam notice that people really seem satisfied with their lives.THEY always look so excited. With melodies, which they probably invented themselves, they always show this to everyone. The women, in particular, give their tunes the best. This time, as they carry their baskets woven from large leaves on the back.
“I really want to know how you make those beautiful baskets,” says Miriam.
