I don’t care what’s on God’s mind

'There is a very beautiful story. There was a yogi who was old and nearing the end of his life. He went about telling everyone that he was going to heaven.

All the other yogis looked at him and wondered, “How does he know he is going to heaven?” But the yogi very confidently went about telling this to everyone in town.

One day, all of them gathered and asked the yogi, “How do you know you will go to heaven? You do not know what’s on God’s mind, whether he wants to send you to heaven or hell.

”The yogi said, “I don’t care what’s on God’s mind. I know what’s on my mind. I am going to heaven and that’s all.


”And that is all it is."

This brought back memories @Henkjan de Krijger of the loss of my parents, they were incredible people, in my mind I always saw them next to God without pain or pain and that I am glad I made the pain of their physical loss more bearable
