I had to tell someone they smell... and it was the most awkward moment of my life!
I’ve always been a person who values honesty, but there are times when being honest can be incredibly difficult. One such instance happened to me a few days ago when I mustered the courage to tell a friend that they had an unpleasant body odor. This experience was challenging, but ultimately, it taught me a valuable lesson about the power of honesty and the importance of speaking up, even when it's uncomfortable.

The confrontation
Let me start by saying that I am not the type of person who enjoys confrontation. I much prefer to avoid conflict whenever possible, so the thought of telling someone they smell was a daunting prospect.
However, this particular friend had been struggling with body odor for some time, and it had reached the point where it was starting to impact the amount of times I wanted to meet up.
I knew that someone needed to say something, and I decided that it might as well be me. I find it incredibly difficult when people suffer bullying and avoidance because people just don't tell them what's wrong.

It is also the way in which something like this is made known. “Body exfoliation”, I didn't know that term.
