I have something to celebrate!

Thanks to Corona's mandatory sitting at home, I finally found the time to work on my books and publishing them again. In 2010 I published my first book, “Nightmare in California”, as a paperback. A year later, “Deadly Secret” was added. Because I do the publishing myself, via a Print on Demand website, I thought my books were too expensive at the time. I am, after all, a rather unknown author. That's why I stopped publishing again.
Get back to work
For a while, I was intending to finally write to my third crime novel, “Murdered Innocence”. That project had been shut down for a couple of years. Partly because of lack of time, but mainly because of lack of inspiration. I suffered from the so-called “writersblock” - Yes. 😳
When Corona came to put soot into everyday life, I sat down for it again. Let's first read what I already had and figure out how to move on. Now I started with “Murdered Innocence” at a time when I was very badly in my skin. I was a bit afraid that I would find it too gloomy myself. To my great surprise, my fear was completely unfounded.
I read with great pleasure and was immediately sucked back into the story. Now I write in first person (I-form) and I put myself in the lead role while writing. So that I could still agree with this character - despite being a lot more positive in life now than I was then - was an unexpected pleasure. And... most importantly, for me at least, was that I could continue writing immediately!
