Land that was born
Where cultures converge
Where variety is the greatest fortunes
Here came spanish, black and americano
And other men from far away
Looking for land and adventures
In this “land of gracia"how Columbus has baptized her
I'm from here!
Where the feelings, the strength and power of the hands merge
To make Venezuela a country of brothers
To sit at the table
and share a corn arepa
With hand cheese
I'm from here!
Where does folklore
It runs through our veins
With drum music !
With espadrilles on our feet and to the rhythm of a joropo we dance until dawn
Listening in the distance to the legend of the whistle and whistles of that
I'm from here!
Where the plains are covered with green foliage,
chaguaramos and coconut trees
Where do tepuis emerge from
Singulars and the great Angel Falls that is lost in the sky
Adorned by white herons and other birds in flight
I'm from here!
A land of great wealth
Oil, gold, coal, and diamonds,
rivers, seas, and lakes,
mountains peaks, plains and coasts
And as a headband on its glasses is the orchid our beautiful flower
I am from here and I love my country!
