I want to show you some of my hobby that I did as a child.
My first lacemaking
Nice to look back, I think I was about 9 years old when I enjoyed trying out all kinds of creative things.
I then went to a lace-making school and took lace-making lessons there.
You sometimes see children sitting at a farmer's market or something and I found it very interesting how they did it.

It's a real artistic expression in which you probably need to concentrate very carefully. Lace is always beautiful. People used to put such lace patches on their cupboards.
You take me back to Zuidlaren.
I used to go there with my parents and brother to an annual market and you still saw old crafts.
