I want to show you some of my hobby that I did as a child.
My first lacemaking
Nice to look back, I think I was about 9 years old when I enjoyed trying out all kinds of creative things.

boy how clever to make such a beautiful thing on your 9th birthday. Do you still have it or just the photos?
Wow, nice! Nice to look back!
@ellesvandenbroek thank you, definitely nice
Great that you made this when you were 9 years old.
Are you ready to go, too?
It's a real artistic expression in which you probably need to concentrate very carefully. Lace is always beautiful. People used to put such lace patches on their cupboards.

@Toto Animo no, I only did it for 1 year, then the lace school closed, so I stopped.
Great results. In Bruges, you still have shops where you can buy this type of work. In the summer, females sit outside on the sidewalk and make laces.
@enigma yes, nice hey, I've been to Bruges myself.
Tjeeeeeee how nice you.
You take me back to Zuidlaren.
I used to go there with my parents and brother to an annual market and you still saw old crafts.
Superrrrr nice.
Many thanks

@aatje Aaah, do you also know this market?
@Digital Artist Barrie no, not those, but others
@aatje
Yes, that is also possible, of course.
Always cool to see nostalgia. I can embrace it.
