Clinkable

AN INTRODUCTION

— By Adriana Barreiros (@Adriana)

I had promised it some time ago and it's finally here. Clinkable, a brand new publication in English entirely dedicated to the arts and letters, is born at last.

As I write the first few words ever to land on its virtual pages, I do so with hopeful optimism that this article will mark the beginning of a long, happy journey of discovery and growth.

Clinkable's mission is to provide a welcoming home and playground for creatives, bringing you beautiful and lovingly created content in text, image, video and audio format.

It will be a quarterly publication, with issues coming out in January, April, July and October. And, as you can read in our bio, though our home is and will always remain Yoo.rs, our ultimate goal is to reach readers everywhere.

The first issue is now in the works. Much remains to be done and learned, but the process is the most joyful part of any endeavour, so I know it will be worthwhile.

For the time being, submissions are not open and the content to be published will be found on the basis of direct invitations to writers and artists. This might change in the future, as the process of producing Clinkable kicks into full gear, so do keep an eye out for that.

If you are reading this, I do want to sincerely thank you for your interest and invite you to follow our page, as in between issues there will be short posts to keep you updated on all Clinkable news and initiatives.

My hope is that, in time, Clinkable will become not only a publication, but also a community. A space to engage, discuss and inspire each other in our creative endeavours.

I look forward to welcoming you to it.

Colored Rolls...
#jjaede MY first work done alone, when I started painting I didn't think I could achieve it, I copied carbon images, did work with laser prints or just unicolor. After leaving my third surprise pregnancy, I went to a country art shop where I always wanted to enter I met his owner Adriana very friendly, showed me everything available from his store and before leaving he told me about his courses in painting on wood. I'm excited about the idea, but it was the next day, words came up in.mi mente que evitaban participará. But I decided not to keep thinking if I will come. The next day I went to the course I loved it, and after several workshops I decided to try myself at home alone. I had a wooden chest and everything needed. Among so many ideas I had been told about one, Argentinian artist who drew spectacular, and I decided to look at his works I had just created a work that was exactly how I felt. I fell in love with that work so much that I didn't think about it and immediately decided to start painting. I can't say I'm the same but it's my work of art, it was what I wanted to do, how I felt. Thousands of ideas and colors passed through my mind. Desire to create painting. The chest was very beautiful, I sold it immediately to buy more material to continue painting. And here I am painting a lot more beautiful things that I can think of. Sometimes he did not publish. But I always save my photos of the process until I finish it.. These photos were from years ago and I kept in an app of my mobile Google Photos that I download in 2000, I love this app and I have years relying on it to store all my photos I have ideas. No Limits
#art Honestly this was one of my beginnings when I started building my technique “the folded seal” Little by little the details are made, Don't limit yourself !! Just draw with two tones and a brush and that's enough! I hope you like it!
