When you talk about museums in Iceland, you soon end up at the phallus museum, known to many.

I haven't visited it yet so I can't say anything about it yet.

But this post is about another museum: the Eldheimar, Pompeii of the North.

This museum was created to commemorate the volcanic eruption that occurred in 1973.

Our hostess Unnur advised us to visit this museum. It would be a visit that will stay with me for a long time!
