If you were born on February 29, when do you celebrate your birthday on non-leap years?

If you were born on February 29, you must be one of the lucky few who gets to celebrate their birthday only once every four years! But what happens in those non-leap years? Do you just skip over your birthday and become a year older without any celebration? That would be tragic!

Maybe you could celebrate on February 28 or March 1, but then you're not really celebrating on your actual birthday. Perhaps you could just celebrate twice as hard on the leap years, or just choose a random day to celebrate every year. After all, birthdays are all about having fun, right? So let's just celebrate whenever we can and not worry about the date too much.
