Illuminated pumpkins

#halloween The pumpkin illuminated from the inside with a candle and with a carved face is the most popular symbol of Halloween.

This has to do with an old Celtic legend, which tells of Jack, an Irishman with a reputation for being stingy who managed to deceive the Devil himself, so that he will not claim his soul and thus end up in hell.

However, when he died he could not enter heaven either, so he ended up wandering between the two kingdoms, with a lantern made of candles and turnips.

Over time, the pumpkin replaced those other vegetables and became the new way to light the way on Halloween.
