A while ago I shared several tips that can help you improve the sustainability of your home and thus help the environment. That's why today I bring you some more tips that can not only help the planet if you put them into practice, but possibly also your economy.
4 tips that can help you take care of your home and save the planet:
• In the toilet, bet on a double flush cistern so you can use half every time you are going to use it. Every time we pull the chain we're pouring about 12 litres of water, so this way we'll reduce spending and save water. And it suits you that the receipt of services comes more economical.
• If you have a small pot garden at home, consider adapting a rainwater collector: it can be a plastic barrel or a can (large plastic bottle), although this will depend on the space you have. All that water that is just lost can be used to water or throw you in the toilet..
• Improve the distribution of waste in your home: try to flatten plastic containers and cans well before throwing them away, separating the plastic caps many centers use them for good causes or also to reuse that resource. And so you'll make more use of the trash bags and you can throw out more waste, reducing the consumption of plastic.
• If you are going to paint your home, choose natural paints that are non-toxic, composed of clay, lime and natural fats. Think that in addition to taking care of the planet, you will also take care of your health and that of the people who live with you.
