In the time of pride
On Pride Day, the June thematic visit reflects on the identities and practices of those who assume sexuality as an unregulated dimension.

Since 1970, Pride Day is celebrated worldwide every 28 June with the leadership of LGBTI rights organizations and movements. This date has meant the creation and dissemination of new cultural horizons and aesthetic proposals that manifest not only in parades and mobilizations, but also in the identities and practices of those who assume sexuality as an open, changing and unregulated dimension of human experience.

In this visit we will take a tour of different pieces from the Art and Numismatics Collections of the Banco de la República that contribute to a narration of this process of cultural change in Colombia and Latin America.
