Insurance, switching or not?
Switch or not?
The new amounts for health insurance are now slowly being announced again. DSW is the first health insurer to announce its premium increase and announced that it will increase the monthly amount by at least 10, - euro. This is a guideline for all other insurers. So it remains to be seen what the other insurers will do.
It makes a difference that the costs for personal contribution will not increase this year, otherwise it would be very serious. Health insurance is already no longer affordable for many and now due to the price increase, even more people will not be able to afford the health insurance or hardly any more. More and more often you notice that people have to make choices on what to skimp on, actually shame, too bad for words.
Do you know United Consumers already?
I myself am insured for my health insurance with VGZ. I pay more than 250, - euro every month, which includes additional insurance and includes the monthly costs for my own contribution (pay that in instalments). Very high indeed, but good if you are care-dependent due to illness, you will also get the amount back.
Now, however, I am not directly insured with VGZ, but I am insured via United Consumers . This is a large organization that buys large insurances, including gas and light and car insurance. You pay your normal insurance every month to the insurance you're insured with, but that's the nice thing!
Because UnitedConsumers buys large, they have a discount percentage on the basic insurances of various insurances, at VGZ anyway. My basic insurance is more than 140, - euro every month. Through UnitedConsumers, I get a 10% monthly discount on my basic insurance. I receive this 10% in cash on a membership card. I can then save a nice amount of money for unforeseen circumstances. Very interesting.
