We no longer have school-aged children and therefore no longer follow the school event in NL. I remember that we had special education for children in my youth. But if that still exists in our country, I don't know. At least you do a good job with that youth.!
It's a bit of a tricky subject. Dobde should start is to train the docebte for the care of these children. Doubde there are no differences but they need to dominate the interaction of a natural environment for them. Educating is the tatea and if it is possible and if it can!! 🙏
I don't know why but I was reminded of the 1963 movie, called "A Child Is Waiting", it's about a young boy with autism who is left at a school for children with special needs and every week he waits for his mother to come and visit him at the school.

I totally agree with that, I grew up with that kind of education and for me it was difficult to interact with people with disabilities, not because I rejected them but on the contrary I did not know how to be friendly with them and that is what it is about that they feel part of the environment.
There used to be special education in Belgium, but for a few years they have been trying to integrate these children into ordinary education, but with varying degrees of success due to lack of support.
