International Day of the Elephant 12 August
Every year on August 12, theWorld Elephant Day. On this day there is special attention to the elephant, because they are not doing well. They are threatened with extinction. We really need to think about this more often, and if you can do something about it, we should of course do so. This Elephant Daybrings people together to help the elephants.
Sign the petition, donate or organize an activity for this charity. For example, a bike ride (ride a bike and not an elephant!), flea market, sponsorship, fashion show, an auction, a scavenger hunt or a party. Wash cars, let dogs out, hold a sports tournament, a ping pong match or whatever! It doesn't matter, as long as the proceeds go to this charity, it's good!
