Iris (lis)

#LIS 😍 Lis (Iris) is a genus of liens in the family. Both the genus and the species are popularly called Iris. In addition to species, the genus also has many cultivars. Lisses have long been used by man. In the Egyptian pyramids there are images of lisses, which originate from 1500 BC. The flowers can vary in color from golden yellow, to white, blue, lavender and purple. Pink and apricot irises are grown within some species.
