Is dogs more trustworthy than humans?

After I had to put my Spanish street dog to sleep due to old age, I didn't feel well. By talking about this, I was able to conclude that I was quite grieving. How I missed my beautiful lady and felt lonely.
The world didn't get any better with the corona problems either, and I actually slowly but surely became clear that I can love dogs more than people.
That very warm feeling when you look at them and can cuddle flat, that knot in my stomach when she was ill, that sad head when she looked at me during my divorce. Nothing mattered more to my emotions than my Luna.
Some people do judge these kinds of feelings, thoughts. For me, the dog is more reliable, and I was wondering. How's that for you?
