Is the special education kindergarten not a success?

Special Education kindergarten is not a success here for our youngest.
What a hassle we're already having with the school again.
The two elders of us really found their place there, but the youngest is only unlucky.

As a mother, I am very worried. Our youngest son is 4 years old and has only been going to special education to group 1 since December.
He has a cold or sick all the time and yes with the whole corona event, there are all rules you have to adhere to.
We do our best as parents to have him there at school as much as possible.

But we see with our son of 4 years that he is deteriorating hard. Talking is reduced again, his cleanliness is becoming hard again and we now also know why.
He's just left to his own devices, that's pretty bad, I think.
Just well and well in grade 1 and then they already expect him to do everything himself.

Our son has a backlog of 25 years so actually you can view him as a 2 year old child and we were already happy that he was housetrained. But now, wet pants every time because they don't want to help him.

We get a sad boy out of school every time. I think the early years of school should not be like that.

We are so hard on remuneration systems so that he himself also learns to get dressed and undress and to be able to go to the toilet independently. It's not so fast with him alone. He has to do everything at his own pace because in his head he knows it, but doing it is not so fast and that's a bit his problem.

I thought that before that, special education was also there for children who needed extra help?
I think I was quite mistaken about it. If they think that he should do that kind of thing all independently, then he could have just as well gone to normal primary education to my knowledge because I know that if you have to put on your own coat for 4 years and put your clothes on and off yourself with gym and go to the toilet should go.

But yes, having a sad son is always not like me either. We see him going down hard and that's really bad.

I wonder what kind of a fight this is going to be again. I hold my heart and figure out everything and then get into battle.
I want the best for my son and I'm going to do everything he keeps having fun and even though I have to help him 10 thousand more times then I just do. He will learn it by itself and come to me from mom, I can do it alone.

He is not lazy, he finds it very difficult and I have full understanding of that. He is a boy who is actually already carrying a backpack with him and everything doesn't go as fast as it should.

And yes, he can't be tested yet for things like ADHD and PDD-NOS that can only be done from 6 years, so we really have to wait for that.

We do have him tested for that as soon as it is possible, because our other two children have it too and that doesn't matter at all, that can just be taken into account, I think.

I always say that way, with the right guidance and help, you always come a long way and so will our son Milano eventually come a long way to move forward in this society.

It will take a little patience and time, but I do have that for it. Not every child is equal, right?
