If the 240 words make a restart, whether or not in a different form, I think more will have to be written and read, and not just when a booster is thrown at them. I'll wait for the results of the poll ☺️

@Encaustichris nice, a new challenge that contains 240 words, will be read and responded to more than the currently usual 140?

@140woorden I have no idea, I notice that little is being written or actually being read at the moment anyway (or I'm not paying attention enough, that's possible, of course)

@Encaustichris yes, that is also possible, of course. For a small group of people, because they find it fun and relaxing to do next door, I would like to keep going. But I think it mainly has to do with my own addiction 😁 (D)

What I literally thought (and often say) chosen.

@Ingrid Tips en meer oh, was that you who had said that many times, you were definitely literally thinking out loud 😀😁

I'm inclined to suggest taking the 140 word challenge in a slightly different form and throwing in some variety.

in his disability, it was unique, but I don't know forcing to continue.

@missmuhimu agree. Continuing compulsively is not advisable, then you run the risk of creating reluctance, and that can never and should never be the intention.

I see nothing in that 240 word thing, with all due respect for the initiators. Maybe it's an idea to think about a - more - word form. B.v. 500 words. Then a writer can enjoy himself more. And it might also be nice to think about choosing a current topic and writing a so-called “fast sonnet” about it. Very popular on other platforms.

@Leo 1 140 instead of 240, but well, that's always even shorter than your proposal. Perhaps as variation, multiples of it. A current topic, rather than a word, is also an idea that, in my opinion, is best included. Tight plan. Is included in the considerations

Honestly, I liked taking part this creative contest. I read a lot of funny, interesting stories. I participated with a few short stories of mine too! The challenge of meeting the requirements of the word-count and keyword was quite fun to do. I vote for yes to see this challenge return, but it's your decision, of course.

as far as I'm concerned, 140 words are tired. When it gets more, I'll drop out.

Hello how are you, greetings. Do what makes you feel good, if you have to write a number of words; then let them be the words that come out. Not everything has to be limited

One hundred forty words, two hundred and forty words and even five hundred words, who offers more? I never participated. In the disability, the master shows himself, okay, but I don't see myself looking for that function to count the words and then jealously stick to it.

@Rudy Siedlecki 🌳 anxiety is rarely (if ever) a good counselor. If you've never participated, I personally think it's lame to write enough words to scrape in the “reward”, but okay. Thanks for your opinion

I answered, Only do what you feel good about and I see that is the most chosen answer. I don't really see the added value of this. But sometimes I think it's fun.

@aatje the added value for some is the relaxation it gives them. Sometimes it can even be addictive, an addiction that poses no health hazard. 😁

@140woorden no, fine. I also answered what you feel good about, right?. 😊

Although I haven't been writing much lately, it would be a shame if this disappeared. So a restart is certainly desirable as far as I am concerned, possibly with adjustments if necessary.

@Dewaputra yes, you've even organized it for a while, maybe a new form is an extra incentive to actively write along again. You were always pretty darn good at it.
