In our two weeks back in Europe we also decided to go a bit abroad, to really have the feeling we were actually on vacation, and not only just escaping our mad lives in Sint Martin. Our destination ended up being Prague. Not specifically because we really wanted to go to Prague, but more of the convenience of an easy access through the airport in my hometown, as well that it is cheap as f%ck. Or at least, as expensive how you decide to make it.

So we decided to go for two full days, and we arrived in the morning quite early, way too early to check in our hotel. So we decided to start walking around the city, it was sunny and cold outside, so it was perfect for walking. Immediately we were sucked in by the beauty of the architecture, which you can literally find on every corner on every street. The city just looks like one big beautiful building, And everything well so well maintained. In the city center of Prague there is a big river running north to south and this really helps you orientate around the city. If you are lost, just go back to the river. Again also the bridges were just stunning to see crossing the water everywhere.

We were walking around with no specific goal, just a bit towards the old center. In a beautiful looking candyshop we got screwed over big time on the price of the candy, currency mixup in our heads

‘this will be 880 kronor miss’

Great to read about your trip. I was expecting to see a picture of the expensive piece of candy though and keep wondering what the price of the Asian food (no wine for me) was. On the other hand I could live on strawberries as well
hahaha the candy was the type you can scoop right out of the box. So different types of candy! Not easy to return also because of that. Yeah and the Asian food.... In the end, with having a certain amount of cocktails and wine, its wasnt too bad at all.!
Wow, looks very nice, here in Budapest the architecture is also beautifull. Did you go back to the candy shop?
True, Budapest to me has a similar vibe to Praha, maybe it is also because of the river in the middle I dunno :)

I didnt go back to the candy shop, by the time we noticed it we were already to far away. And maybe, just maybe, these were just the actual prices there, who knows? :)

I just finished the bag yesterday hahaaahh
What beautifull all!
really worth going to!
I had a blast, perfect destination for a city trip for a couple of days
