ISO value, sensor light sensitivity

The effect of ISO value when taking a photo with the camera or phone is not complicated, but it is important. It is the closing point of possibilities when creating a well-lit photo. Another lesson in the Yoors Photography Course.

The ISO value stipulates photosensitivity of sensor. If it gets dark outside, or when you're shooting inside, a higher ISO value will basically be required to get your photo sufficiently exposed.

But, as you see in the image, a high ISO value gives you noise in your photo. Then you get a picture that shows speckles, especially in the dark parts. Technically, this is because the light that falls on the sensor and converts into a digital image does not distribute completely evenly. This is reflected in a high ISO value.

A camera with a large sensor is less likely to give noise than a camera with a smaller sensor.
