The Dutch government does not do enough to prevent barn fires, the Research Council for Safety (OVV) concludes Wednesday. According to the OVV, the government considers that 130,000 chickens or 7,000 pigs are deemed to be an “acceptable risk”..
In that decision, many livestock farmers have no money to take extra measures and that they “face many more issues”..
