#savemoney

If you want to save, it's often not in the big stuff. but are it the little ones who make the difference. The following are a few tips that are achievable for everyone.

1. Make your own lunch package instead of getting a sandwich in the cafeteria each time. Okay. a little more work in the morning, but you can make them just as delicious as that canteen lady and all the way to you.

2. Sharing is safe. . Take a look around, there are probably people you can share or exchange a subscription with. Netflix and other streaming services, but also magazines etc. Also make more expensive purchases such as a lawn machine, etc. are perfect for this, provided there is a good rapport and honest way of dealing.

3. Take a look more often at a second-hand fair or sale.

4. An avid reader. At least join the library in Belgium, because it's not that cheap in Dutch either. But in the Netherlands, you have a bookcase in almost every municipality where you can bring books for free.

5. Cook a little more elaborate and freeze. This is not only nice and convenient, but also cheaper in purchase and energy. After all, cooking once and warming up once is cheaper than cooking extensively twice.

6. See if you can't arrange a turn role in childcare during the holidays with a few parents instead of bringing their child to daycare separately. Helped everyone and much cheaper.

7. Pull unnecessary energy consumers out of the electrical outlets. This way, you can easily save a few 100th euros a year.

8. Take the old dry rack back up to dry your clothes.

9. Also iron a little less and fold up more often if possible
(sheets and stuff). Also ideal, by the way, if you hate ironing like me.

10. Cycle or walk more often instead of taking the car. It saves you tons of money on gasoline or gas. and if you do this often enough, also on an expensive sports subscription.

11. Make a pot where you save your change. Personally, I do this all year round and use this sum at the end of the year before the holidays.

12. Work with envelopes. At the beginning of the month, I make envelopes with budgets that I can't get to. Or right now, when I'm saving for a bigger party like my son's communion. I have an envelope that I put in a certain amount each week so that I create a budget for the party.

Finally, I think that the key to saving also lies in the mentality shift, where we realize that we can help each other together.
Too often, we still live in an individualistic society where we don't want to depend on anyone and do everything ourselves.
If we deviate from this principle and help someone else more often, that will also come back to you. When we help each other, we are stronger and we get further. also in saving.

It's all about the little ones...
