#gardening El jardín botánico de Caracas, es parte de la Universidad Central de Venezuela. Es uno de los lugares que casi todos los caraqueños saben que existe, pero que muy pocos conocen. Fue creado por Tobías Lasser 1911-2006,El Jardín Botánico de la UCV, está ubicado pocos metros antes de la entrada de la Universidad Central de Venezuela, por la Plaza Venezuela. Tiene un pequeño y bonito estacionamiento y la visita es realmente económica.
Al lado del estacionamiento, se encuentra una de las tres lagunas que adornan el jardín. Estas lagunas contienen ecosistemas acuáticos con diversas plantas acuáticas,El Jardín Botánico es un lugar en donde se puede venir a descansar, leer, trotar, meditar o practicar artes orientales
