We don't prune. Leave dead plants. It contains seed, which is eaten by bugs. Otherwise, they will fall to the ground. In the spring, we remove the barren twigs and crumble it and sprinkle them over the soil. This is called mulching.

I like being able to have the opportunity to sow and for me it is a publication that gives me more to learn about
I think it's good advice for people who want to have the opportunity to create a nice garden in their house
I'm not at all one who likes to be busy in the garden, but these are sometimes useful tips.
I also remove leaves from the grass, but otherwise I throw as many leaves as possible on the ground between plants and trees. It protects against the cold and is a natural fertiliser. For example, see: https://weekend.knack.be/human-interest/waarom-je-de-herfstbladeren-in-je-tuin-beter-kan-laten-liggen/
it's fun to try to create a small garden where you only have what you want to sow for your liking and having the steps of how to do it is better

I was shocked for a moment. Preparing the garden for winter already? But luckily you explained it nicely.
Agree with your story, although I leave annuals, because they often come back, otherwise they make compost, always welcome.
And above all, leave leaves and twigs behind: will the hedgehogs be happy!

Excellent, I've always wanted to have a big garden. I live in an arid area, so there's not a very good chance of having it
Great tips, which will undoubtedly be particularly welcome for many people. My garden here in Bali, on the other hand, never needs to be winterized ;-)
That is useful information, I am grateful that you brought this to my attention, now I can go a little further with my gardening work.
