After four seasons on Netflix, the hard-hitting teen drama 13 Reasons Why has concluded, making it one of the platform's most talked-about shows. The show began with delving into why Hannah Baker (Katherine Langford), a teen high school student, committed suicide and has since moved on to other complex themes confronting today’s kids. Baseball player Jeff Atkins, who appeared in the first season and had a tragic fate that it could have avoided, was one of the most sympathetic characters on the show. Who Is Jeff Atkins In 13 Reasons Why?

Brandon Larracuente, who debuted on stage at eight, portrays Jeff Atkins. He earned international praise for his performance as Ben Rayburn, Kyle Chandler's teenage son, in the Netflix original series Bloodline.

He appeared in a revival of the ‘90s sitcom Party of Five on Freeform after leaving 13 Reasons Why, but the show was Canceled one season earlier this year.

Jeff Atkins, a high school athlete who sincerely cared about the sentiments of others around him, notably Dylan Minette’s Clay, with whom he wanted to be a decent friend, is one of Larracuente’s most well-known characters.

In Thirteen Reasons Why, How Did Jeff Die?

Jeff was murdered in a car accident near Tanglewood and Bay Street, as shown in the first season of 13 Reasons Why. At first, it appears that his brutal end was due to drunk driving, but a later twist reveals that this was not the case.

Jeff, along with many other Liberty High students, had attended Jessica Davis' party, including Hannah and Clay, who had gotten into a violent fight. When Sheri notices Hannah sitting alone, she offers her a ride home, which she accepts. However, on the way, they collide with a critical' stop' sign, which knocks them out of sight. But Sheri denies reporting the incident, making the intersection more dangerous for drivers.

Jeff remains clean after that, but he goes out to get more alcohol for the other partygoers. He drives through the intersection where the stop sign should be on his way back from the store, and a car slams with him, killing him before paramedics arrive.

Some assume he was drink driving because of the alcohol in his car, but his terrible death was due to circumstances beyond his control. Many admirers disappointed Jeff's loss, believing that he deserved far more.

At this point, it is anonymous whether or not 13 Reasons Why season 5 will be released. For the time being, the series has come to an end with season 4, bringing the total number of Liberty High students killed to five, all of whom died due to unjust and unworthy circumstances. According to Clay, Hannah Baker, Jeff Atkins, Bryce Walker, Monty de la Cruz, and Justin Foley are the five people still missing.
