Josiane goes gardening

Due to Covid 19, Josiane had lost her best friend in the past year. She had grieved about it for a long time. In the end, she decided to pack up. Because her whole family had suffered from her depression. That's why she had been to a psychotherapist. She had advised her to reschedule her mind, provided a hobby. She had never been very sporty. In recent months, however, Josiane had thoroughly enjoyed her walks in nature. Where she had always snapped of all the beautiful photos.
So photography was a hobby of hers anyway.
She decided to add something else. Behind her new home was a garden. It had been rather monotonous for several years now. Grass everywhere you can see your chin. She definitely wanted to change that. She saw beautiful tulips everywhere in a border and in between a cozy garden salon with a self-masonry barbecue.
Her husband Jan was more than happy that Josiane was repacking and immediately supported the idea.
He also wanted to help her dig up the soil to plant flowers in it.
Josiane, meanwhile, drove to the garden centre.
There she learned that tulip bulbs had to be in the ground just before winter
So the tulip plan was put away for the next year.
She then chose the diligent songs present in red, pink and white, blue forget me staples, white daisies and other flowers that provide length variety in the garden. She also took some green yew trees and shrubs of flowers.
Her car was well stocked with it.
In the meantime, Jan had worked hard on digging. All right, the previous owner of the house had upgraded the land. It wasn't clay, but really nutritious dark soil. His wife would be happy about that.
This is her, indeed. She immediately starts planting all the flowers, trees and shrubs she brought with her.
It immediately made the garden a lot more colorful.
It was a feat, though. So that preparing the supper fell into the “soup”.
But Jan doesn't even mind that much for once.
At dusk, they had gotten everything in the ground.
The floral border looks lovely.
“Tomorrow we'll get a garden salon,” Josiane dictates, “and we'll have a real barbecue bricked in stone by Uncle Frans. I'm sure he wants to do that”
“Jeez! Your new hobby isn't cheap either, say! And who will use the barbecue”
“You or me. We'll see. It's gonna be super.
We'll be the first to invite Uncle Frans and Renilde and your friend, maybe?

“Good. Joepie! Tomorrow to the garden furniture. Aren't you going to choose”
“Naturally. We choose a cozy garden salon. It's gonna be cool”
