Learn to distinguish characteristics from teasing and bullying

As I mentioned in the previous post, the difference between teasing and bullying is actually not that good. The teases can soon turn into harassment without you actually even knowing this. And before you finally realize that a child is being bullied, damage has actually been done mainly in the emotional area. That is why I would also like to give you a little more knowledge and insights about how to recognize the difference between teasing and bullying in this post.

But before we start doing that, let's first look at the groups. When we talk about the topic of bullying, there are always different groups to designate. These groups can be divided as follows:

  • The bullied or victims.
  • The bullies or perpetrators; The bully is never alone. The bully always has a group that participates in the bullying, the 'meelopers'. These participate out of fear of being bullied otherwise themselves.
  • The meelopers, these participate for fear of otherwise being bullied themselves.
  • The silent group, also called the silent ones; signal the bullying, but do not participate themselves.
  • Insurers for the bullied, also known as the helpers: report bullying at the teacher or help the bullied.

There is a plagued at every age stage. Teasing is something that is and remains innocent as long as there is a basis of equivalence and it happens incidentally. At the time when the teasing takes place over and over again and in a negative and malicious way, then there is bullying. In bullying, there is no more equivalence, but rather the display of power of the bully vis-à-vis the victim. Bullying occurs in all countries, cultures and also in every layer of the population. Bullying happens between both children and adults, but more often between children. An investigation into being bullied and bullying of others among 90,000 students showed as results that bullying occurs in varying degrees of severity.

It is quite useful information to persist and avoid further harm, there have already been cases where through this malpractice children have lost their lives or their personality has been badly degraded, very unsure of themselves.
We have to be very aware of our children because they live longer than they think they are very attentive to the signs.
Nowadays in schools this is an evil that is seen every day; bullyng and you have to watch out for could be deadly.
