'What will my wife say when I come home in these dirty clothes?' he complains aloud.

'Where did you last see him?' asks the gnome.
'Over there,' Kimmie points, 'in that witch's circle.'
'Oh, but that's not good.'
'Not good?'
'No, you must never go into a witch's circle. It's very dangerous!'
'Really?'
'Yes, he was probably taken by a witch.'
'What, how can I find him?'
'Witch circles are often gateways to another place. Sometimes they lead directly to the witch's house.  That way they travel faster and unnoticed.'
