Long live the King! Hip, hiep.. hurray! Crafting a crown, that should not be missing on King's Day! Do you have ice sticks in the house? Oh, good! Then we'll show you how to make a beautiful crown for this national festive day, hang your most beautiful ribbon on it and hang it in front of your window. Hang the flag outside, and the orange king's feast can begin!

With these crafts there is no mess with cutting the wooden sticks, they can all stay whole! And you only need 11 sticks for one crown. Furthermore a few adhesive tapes, glue, 4 pomponnetjes and some nice gemstones (rhinestones). Do you want to hang the crown? Then you probably have a red/white/blue or orange ribbon or cord.

Step by step we show you how to make this crown very easily yourself. Use 11 sticks, of which 8 orange, 1 red, 1 white (painted white or you leave it blank) and 1 blue. With a few pieces of adhesive tape you make red, white and blue together like the example. Then first glue the 2 outer sticks with a few droplets of glue (eg Creall Coll all slime)

Then glue the middle two sticks, also like the example, so from the white line. Then the other sticks. Let it dry for 10 minutes and turn it over.

Now you can glue the pompoms to the points. It is convenient if you put a drop of glue on each point, and then lightly press the pump on it. (So do not glue the pump itself)

Putting those droplets on the wood is also the most convenient way to stick glitter stones. First all the droplets, and then with a (slightly) wet finger put the glitter on the drop of glue.

You can of course decorate that in all kinds of ways and with different colors and shapes. Maybe you have hearts, flowers, stars or butterflies? That is also very nice!

We wish you a very nice and creative King's Day!
