What do you do with a basket full of wooden clothespins? Of course, you can make a craft out of that! For King's Day, we made a couple of lions with residents of a healthcare facility. They can all hang in front of the window and on the wall, while there are many King's Day activities going on inside and outside. Those lions really like to see that happiness from a distance. Would you also like to make a King's Day lion out of clothespins (and some other material)? Then read below how you can also easily craft one yourself!

By the way, did you know that a group of lions is called a “troop”? A pack of lions usually consists of only 1 male (only the male has a nice mane) and a pair of lionesses. However, it also happens that there are more males in a pack. Then they are usually brothers or family. The lionesses always stay in the same group, all their lives.

Things are completely different in this crafty crap. Because here you only see males. All with a nice mane of clothespins. And hey, they all have a glitter crown on them too. and a few even have a Dutch flag on their cheeks. That's not surprising, because this crap is typically Dutch. Of course, the lions are all in orange, and they even roar in Dutch, do you hear that? If you translate that roar correctly, they roar: Long live the King! They just don't know the King's name very well. But, of course, you know that quite well!
