The next morning Ka wakes up from a nightmare and finds out that the nightmare has not ended yet. The night has passed quickly. Too fast.
He had hoped Kinnie would come to his aid. In the dark, she had a good chance. But now it's light! It wouldn't be long before they went to get him. His fate: a boiling hour in a hot pot! The thermos annibals know how to set a fire. He wouldn't get cold.
At that moment, a thermos annibals of hands rubbing into the cabin. “I have a surprise for you,” he says.

“We're going to have a feast.”
