Kippendijen VS kipfilet
I've been totally eating on chicken thighs since a long time, instead of chicken breast.
Chicken thighs are generally a lot more juicy and tasteful than the traditional chicken breast (either single-sided chicken breast). This is because the thighs are more often unworked, and the fillets are more inflated with water. This also makes the color of the meat very different.
Especially for sate and stir-fried dishes, this is good to use. No disadvantage is that sometimes you have to clean the meat a bit more, but sometimes there are some tendons and bones on it.
Here in the antilles, chicken thighs are cheaper even than chicken breast, I dare not say how that is currently in the Netherlands.Β
