Do you have no kitchen rolls but empty toilet rolls? That snake might be a little shorter, but just as nice. Then cut the winding strip a little thinner.

First paint the rollers, e.g. with the Washable Kids Paint from Crayola. A beautiful paint available in 20 colors, also in glitter, neon and metallic colors. The paint is very well washable from hands and textiles, so ideal for painting with children!

Let the paint dry really GOOD, before you start decorating with markers, glitter glue, acrylic pens or other things. In the meantime, you can practice the cutting once with a bare roll! Cut obliquely until you have a width of about 2 cm. Cut with small cuts and twist the roll a little with it. Raflets during the cutting are created anyway, you can have them cut off a little.

On 1 side, cut off the tip so that the head forms. If necessary, cut the head slightly rounder. Glue eyelets on them (larger and crooked eyes are also nice). Cut tongues from red folding paper and make the tongues curly by pulling along the sharp side of the scissors. Glue the tongues and allow the glue to dry for a while. Then you can model the snakes the way you want them!
