La Brea: A window into prehistory
By watching the Netflix series “La Brea”, I did some research to find out to what extent the series was fiction. She's fiction, there's no doubt about that, yet it exists.

In the middle of modern Los Angeles lies a unique archaeological and palaeontological treasure: the La Brea Tar Pits. These tar pits are one of the richest fossil sites in the world and offer an unprecedented glimpse into life in prehistory, particularly during the Pleistocene, around 10,000 to 50,000 years ago.
