Dogs can have strokes too
@kimsfotogalerij your photos of your labrador made me want to share a photo of our labrador too.
6 weeks ago she had a stroke, we were so worried about her and it was very scary. She spent 2 days in an animal hospital, and then they told us we could take her home if we promise to watch her very carefully as she was still very weak and falling every time she tried to stand up. This photo is of her on the first night back at home.
The first few days we had to carry her up and down stairs and feed her as if she was a new born, but we were rewarded because she made a good recovery. She still walks a little skew, and on some days she seems a bit disorientated, but we are happy that she recovered so well.
