The ladies is a board game for two opponents. The game consists of moving the pieces diagonally through the black (or white black or red in some variants) squares of a 64 or 100 square board. If someone does not kill (capture), they will lose that piece when playing contrary to the obligatory intention of capturing (eating) the opposing player's pieces, passing over those pieces.
